  • Medieval Photographs
    Lord Lea summoned a range of carpenters, masons, tilers, other workmen of houses, carters, ploughmen, drivers of the plough, shepherds, swineherds Serfs, thief's, cordwainers and shoemakers, goldsmiths, saddlers, horsemsiths, spurriers, tanners, curriers, tawers of leather, tailors, artificers, and laborers, and other servants and vagabonds to the Rotary Clubs Medieval Evening. A good time was had by all with over £700 being raised towards the Clubs Centenary project.
    Baron David of Redditch is seen here with his good Lady Judy and friends.
    All Medieval events need a joker and this was ours.
    The Medieval Fayre included a number of events:
    Here we see two vagabonds juggling for their supper.
    Lady Saunders attempts to pin the antlers on the stag (the stag is the one on the wall).
    No Medieval evening would be without Medieval hare racing.
