Community Services - in Redditch Kingfisher we regularly
support the annual fete at the Alexandra Hospital, holidays
to Blackpool for older people in our community and Kids
Out at Drayton Manor Park for young people with learning
and physical disabilities. We have also been involved
as both sponsors and helpers at the annual Rotary Sports
event held each year in Coventry. We have worked with
the Salvation Army and local Social Services to provide
Christmas parcels for elderly and disadvantaged local
families, this is something that we are looking to reinstate
this year. The Community Services committee is also responsible
for fund raising for charity within the club and annually
raises thousands of pounds for local, national and international
charities.
