| In October 2004 a band of four Rotarians
from the club headed off with Flybe to the Island of
Guernsey.
The upper echelons (Rammage and Carpenter) went the
day before Scott and Tyrrell.
This was not because the flights were cheaper (oh no)
but because they were going to the free drinks party
hosted by the State of Guernsey.
No photographs are available from that evening, we
were told this was because they forgot their camera.
Sources on the Island tell us, its because they had
so much to drink they couldn't publish the pictures.
On the Friday evening we headed to the Disney Night
Celebrations and one picture was smuggled out along
with half a bottle of wine which mysteriously returned
the following evening full.

As you can see a stranger has joined the party. You
may recognise him as David Taylor from our Mother Club.
Discerning readers will also notice how carefully most
of the booze has been moved towards the Scotts to avoid
embarassment to others!!
All Conferences have a District Governor and this was
ours.

Can you tell which one is the DG??
On Sunday evening we had a Haloween Party
We all dressed up in a variety of costumes from such
extravagant suppliers as Tesco, Safeway and Sema. Some
of us even had masks, for a few of us it was a vast
improvement.

The whole group were photographed, but
who are the weirdos above??

The whole group and nothing but the
group.

If
you have any photos from this evening, why not email
them to us.
